The spectacular success of the first Neighbours' Day in India
In 2012, the European Federation of Local Solidarity had the pleasure to expand Neighbours' Day's scope and to welcome India for the first time between its worldwide partners !
On the 16th of December 2012, more than 550 000 residents celebrated the first Indian Neighbours' Day in 515 societies. The key cities where celebrations took place, were Delhi, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Ahmedabad and Pune.

Neighbours' Day's first edition in India was launched by Just My Neighbour (http://www.justmyneighbour.com).
JustMyNeighbour is an online portal especially designed and created for residential societies. It is a platform that helps the residents of a society to stay connected and communicate among themselves on common topic of interests and issues. The portal consists of various communication modules that help residents to be informed on new developments about and around their society related affairs.
